Our Story
In the spring of 1999, I was working as a high school counselor in Rochester, NY. When asked to take a cake decorating class by a colleague, I agreed. Not knowing that it would be a huge turning point in my life. The first thing I did in the class was to make a buttercream rose. I absolutely fell in love with cake decorating from day one and, over 20 years later, find myself just as passionate about decorating as I was in that first class.
In 2000, I moved back to Syracuse and worked for Syracuse University. This was an ideal place to continue to learn, practice and grow in cake decorating as there was always someone needing a cake. In 2008, and a couple jobs later, I took the big leap and became a DBA. In 2010, not only did the company become an LLC, I began my journey as a full time cake decorator. In 2015, I reached one of my biggest goals as a cake decorator, and proudly have my own commercial kitchen.
I have made hundreds of wedding and specialty cakes through the years. Each cake is its own unique design and I enjoy creating each and every one of them. Please take a moment to look through some of my recent work. I look forward to working with you in the future.
