Wedding Cakes
What do you charge?
All cakes are custom made. Your price is determined by the final design. Buttercream cakes start at $4.75 per serving. Fondant cakes start at $5.50 per serving.
Is there a consultation fee?
No, consultation and tasting are free.
How do I make an appointment for a consultation?
To make an appointment, please call or email. We will set up a time that is convenient for both parties. Consultations usually take about an hour.
What deposit is required?
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required once a design is decided upon. The remaining balance is due one month prior to the wedding. There is also a refundable deposit for all equipment (plates, pillars, fountains, etc). The equipment deposit will be completely refunded when all equipment is returned in good condition.
Can I make changes to the design after the initial consultation?
Yes, changes can be made up to two months prior to the wedding.
Is there a delivery charge?
Yes, there is a delivery charge and is based on distance traveled.
Is there a set up charge?
No, the set up of the cake is included in the price.
Can I put fresh flowers on the cake?
Yes, but if you choose to use fresh flowers on your cake. Your florist is responsible for the flowers and making sure all flowers and foliage are safe to place on the cake.
Specialty Cakes
What do you charge?
Cost is based the same as wedding cakes. All cakes are custom made. Your price is determined by the final design. Buttercream cakes start at $4.50 per serving. Fondant cakes start at $5.25 per serving.
How far in advance do I have to order or can I pick up a cake that day?
We prefer to have a 1-2 week notice on all special order cakes. We cannot do same day pick up as all cakes are custom made.
Can I sample the cakes?
No, but you can purchase a small cake prior to your event.
Do you make character cakes? (ie. Mickey Mouse, Batman, Nascar, Elmo, Dora)
No, these are protected by copyright laws, so we are unable to reproduce any images of licensed characters. However, we are able to make a cake designed around any color scheme and put figurines or toppers purchased by the customer on top.
How do you receive payment?
Paypal, cash, check or money order. A deposit is required to book the date. Final payment can be made the day of the event.
Do you deliver?
Yes, we can deliver for you. An additional fee will be charged depending on where you are located.
Are we certified by the health department?
Yes, the Onondaga County Health Department makes yearly inspection of our baking & decorating facility.
